THE FOOD AND WINES OF MADRID and ALBACETE

Legs of Jamon Iberico for sale at various prices at Museum de Jamon, just off Puerta del Sol, Madrid. You may also order slices to be consummed in the premises with a choice of beverages - wine, beer, sidra or Coke.	Order a glass of wine and receive a complimentary plate of Tapas at Albur. A hip and happening Tapas Bar and Restaurant in Madrid.	Croquettes, Octopus in olive oil and Calamari in Batter served as appetisers for lunch at the Official Tasting session.	Perfectly grilled and marinated Lamb Chops for the main course. Also at the Official Tasting session on Day 2.
Golden paella stuffed with seafood and chicken, flavoured with the region's saffron at Fuentealbilla, a small town, an hour's drive from Villarrobledo.	A most apetising array of Tapas for afternoon tea at Bodegas Santa Margarita.	Another view of those lovely tapas with a bottle of Santa Margarita's white wine.	The lucky few who joined the visit to Vinos Cambronero, enjoying a truly authentic paella for lunch.
These are all the wines featured in this mission from NINE wineries from the province of Albacete in the region of Castilla-La Mancha.			On left, is the range of wines of Bodegas y Vinedos Tornero.
