Sideways Earns Five Oscar Nominations
Wine movie is up for best picture, director, screenplay and supporting actor and actress awards

"Sideways" premiered on 15 Feb at Cathay Cineleisure with 300 invited guests of The Wine Institute of California, The United States Embassy and Twentieth Century Fox. The pre-movie reception of Californian wines were sponsored by a bevy of wine importers keen to show off their Californian wines. Two Pinot Noirs from Santa Barbera, the actual location of the movie, were featured. These were Domaine St. George (Ben Tradevines) and Sanford (Maple Wines), which was featured as the starting point of Miles' & Jack's tour of the vineyards of Santa Barbera.

Public screenings begin on 24 Feb. Do not miss this multi-award winning but low budget movie that'll pull at the heartstrings of middle-aged winelovers, looking for the perfect wine.
